This June, classes 8A and 8B, went on an amazing trip to Hørsholm, which is located in Denmark, to visit our partner school Hørsholm Skole. We went there by bus and later on by ferry, which took us about ten hours. The trip there was long but fun and when we arrived we finally met our exchange students.
On our first day, all of us met at school. We were divided into groups and played some teambuilding games, which were nice to get to know the Danish students. In the next few days, we first went to Copenhagen, which was awesome. We went on different walking tours around the city looking at Copenhagen’s sights, enjoyed lunch at a street food market, and went shopping. In the evening, we spent a couple of hours at Tivoli. Tivoli is an amusement park and it was one of the highlights of the whole stay for most of us because it was such fun to try the various attractions.
We also went on a one-day-trip to Roskilde where we visited the Viking Ship Museum and after that we went sailing in one of the Viking ships. It was so cool and impressive! Now we can imagine how hard it must have been for the Vikings to get to another place by sailing. On our last day, we visited another museum, the Experimanterium.
Thanks to the great weather, we walked to the beach near the school before boarding our bus. Some of us even went into the water. All of us were a little sad because the stay with the Danish students was amazing and unforgettable. We are already looking forward to seeing them again in September and we hope that the days we have together in Münster will be as awesome as the ones in Hørsholm. (Helene und Pia, 8b)
